Each one-to-two minute video builds on the last, taking you from nothing to a drafted short solo. Each prompt focuses on a different element—vocabulary, space, relationship—so by the fifth video, you have something grounded and 3-dimensional.

Whether you're facing an unbooked studio or creative self-doubt, these prompts are designed to get you into flow fast. Work quickly inside someone else's framework to shake up your artistic process and discover what happens when you start differently.

Run through all five prompts in one creative session, or take a short moment each day for five days as a loving bootcamp. Start Monday, stay with it, and by the weekend you'll have a short solo and a reminder of where your creativity is living.

Made for Artists Who Are Ready to Start Differently

If you're a dancer, theater maker, or performance artist, you know that feeling: you've started your creative process the same way so many times, and it's starting to feel like you're making the same work over and over. Starting is risky—it's the moment before jumping into two flying Double Dutch ropes. But what if you had a guide? What if someone else's creative framework could be exactly what you need to shake loose and discover something new? These five video prompts do exactly that. They're short, they're specific, and they're designed to move you from stuck to flowing in minutes. By the time you finish, you'll have a piece. More importantly, you'll remember what it feels like to create without the weight of your usual patterns.
